Ciao! Italy Sept 15-Oct 13 2009

11.16.09

From Rome => Florence => Siena => San Gimignano => Riomaggiore => Cinque Terre => Parma => Venice => Verona => Milan => Rome => Vancouver

Wow! There was so much to see in Italy, so many different foods to eat, and so many places to shop! My top 3 cities that I enjoyed the most have to be Siena, Milan, and Verona. Riomaggiore comes close since it’s such a beautiful place and I would love to go back to the Mediteranean coastline. Tuscan region was definately a highlight so next time it’s back to Tuscany and all it has to offer. Another cooking classes & perhaps a week long bike tour? Next time!

Highlights of the trip: visiting the Colosseum at the end of the day so there weren’t that many tourists, simple but soooo delicious Tomato/Garlic Penne in a small quaint restuarant, outlet shopping, hiking for 5 hours from town to town along the Cinque Terre coastline, driving a Ferrari 430 in Maronello, 0.89 Euro bottle of Prosecco at the supermarket, gelato gelato gelato, Venice private cooking class, & window shopping in Milan!
