About Me

Thank-you for taking the time to visit my website! Exercising and being active has always been a big part of my life and continues to drive me on.

Born and raised in Vancouver, I have grown to love the city’s parks and outdoor activities. I enjoy running and participating in athletic events, including the Vancouver marathon and the local Grouse Grind. With my running partner, my father, I hope to finish many more fun and exciting events whether it be in our city or abroad. I have traveled, studied and lived in Australia, Singapore, & Malaysia over the last 10 years, but will always enjoy what Vancouver has to offer.

I studied at the University of British Columbia: Bachelors of Human Kinetics (BHK) with a Commerce Minor. Having completed that several years ago, I am now focusing on encouraging others to be athletically conditioned, to be conscious of their wellbeing, and to be able to achieve their health and fitness goals. Aside from personal and group training, I also lead aerobics classes.

Some of my other interests include hiking, cycling, sewing, cooking (particularly southeast Asian cuisine), and teaching piano (certified with the Royal Conservatory of Music)

Philosophy

Our bodies are meant to MOVE! We are designed to experience a wide array of movement and so we must take advantage of this blessing by using it to our fullest. I believe in fun, enjoyable, and rewarding experiences that allow our bodies to feel strong: physically, emotionally, and socially. Being physically active and physically healthy requires us to make a decision to be in motion rather than be motionless, so that’s why I say just “MOVE!

Mission Statement

To impact the lives of people by encouraging them to love and take care of their bodies through staying physically active, consciously healthy, and athletically conditioned.
